With over 25 years in the transport industry, Director, Andrew Carburn and his team understand the fast-evolving world of online communication and the customer demands and expectations of their delivery services. They wanted to create a simple, yet modern looking website that delivered the right look and feel for their newly created brand.

The Xpress Team came to Clutch Digital with the challenge of a completely new brand and logo design. This also included a new website, business stationery and corporate clothing to suit the new brand. They wanted not only a new look and feel but they really wanted it to represent what the new brand stood for as a business - which was customer service & efficiency. Fresh, professional and contemporary yet provide a friendly culture to match their target audience.

STAGE 1 – Create the new logo and brand

We worked with the whole Xpress team to understand exactly what they wanted to look like, who they wanted to appeal to and the story they wanted to tell. After agreeing on the correct colour palette, we prepared several logo mark options and the team made a decision which only took a week to finalise.

The red and blue colour logo mark really matched the business’s face paced look and feel, showcasing the strong logistics business persona. We then developed a simple style guide to ensure ongoing brand consistency in the communications look and feel. The guide outlined the rules of applying new and existing brand elements, such as colour palette, image selection and typography for business stationery and new corporate clothing.

STAGE 2 – Website, Print Collateral & Corporate Clothing

Using insights gained from the logo and brand development, we created the new website based around the new brand and a website brief provided by the Xpress team. We delivered an exciting new home page and user friendly, informative information pages. The new site included a portal link to further logistic services which was quite a simple integration.

The website was designed to be flexible enough to work long term over many years and appeal to their clients with the aim to continue building warm and positive relationships. This build is stage one with the intention to expand the business in the near future with s stage two build brief.
